Sonida Senior Living Inc. is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing, bathing, and grooming, while promoting their dignity and independence.
- Monitor and assist with medication provision, adhering to established facility policies and procedures.
- Document medication provision, services delivered, and resident condition accurately and thoroughly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff members regarding resident health questions and concerns.
- Escort residents to various parts of the building as needed and assist with resident activities.
- Assist with meal service, including serving residents and cleaning tables.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment within assigned duty areas.
- Respond promptly to resident call light signals and treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Basic knowledge of medication administration and documentation.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 pounds.
