Responsibilities
  • Lead group exercise classes, including land and water-based programs, to promote physical fitness and well-being
  • Develop and implement engaging and safe exercise programs for diverse age groups and fitness levels
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to member inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the wellness team to promote healthy living initiatives and programs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in group exercise instruction
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in exercise science, fitness, or related field preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in group exercise instruction, including land and water-based programs
  • Current national group exercise certification from a recognized organization, such as ACE, ACSM, or AFAA
  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations
