We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Trader I - Sportsbook Operations Specialist** to join our team at Fanatics Betting & Gaming. As a key member of our Trading department, you will play a critical role in helping us create an engaging and entertaining betting experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with our Trading Managers to assist with various tasks, including data analysis, market creation, and feature testing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new trading models and strategies to enhance our sportsbook offerings.
- Collaborate with our Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to create a best-in-class betting experience for our customers.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of our Trading department, identifying areas for automation and process optimization.
- Coach and develop Associate Traders within the Trading department to ensure their growth and success.
- Work closely with our Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure that our Trading strategies are aligned with our business objectives.
- Assist other teams within the department as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, or Mathematics.
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sports betting industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Strong understanding of odds compilation and the sports betting industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A competitive salary range of $61,000 - $89,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
