Join Fanatics Betting and Gaming as a Trader I - Risk Management Specialist and contribute to creating an entertaining betting proposition that appeals to Fanatics customers while managing betting limits and overall trading risk.

As a Trader I - Risk Management Specialist, you will be an important team player, assisting the team with various tasks including data analysis, limit setting, customer profiling, and pricing maintenance. You will work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to create and implement a best-in-class, intuitive, and scalable betting experience for our customers.

• Monitor bets and manage prices to ensure a fair and entertaining betting experience for our customers.
• Assist in testing new sportsbook features and trading models, and provide input to the wider team.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement across the Trading department, assisting with automation and identifying areas for advancement.
• Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to create and implement a best-in-class, intuitive, and scalable betting experience for our customers.
• Ensure that Fanatics are putting the customer at the heart of our Trading strategies.
• Assist other teams within the department where necessary.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a quantitative or business field.
• Experience in similar roles is preferred.
• A real passion for sport, and an inherent understanding of what sports fans want in order to be entertained.
• Ability to understand and interpret data, translating that data into actionable insights.
• Ability to test sportsbook platforms and help develop and test trading models.
• Preference to work in an entrepreneurial, hyper-growth environment where decisions are made quickly.
• Team-first mentality, with a willingness to do what it takes to get the job done and effectively work cross-functionally across different teams at FBG and the larger Fanatics organization.
• Willingness to ask questions and learn along with strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible work schedule will be required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

We offer a competitive salary range of $61,000 per year - $89,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming equity award.
