Clinical Research Lab Nurse

The Clinical Research Lab RN is responsible for executing and documenting clinical studies to support R&D efforts, regulatory filings, and marketing initiatives for Masimo products.
Duties & Responsibilities- Perform venous puncture, finger sticks, venous line removal, and arterial dressing.
- Place intravenous catheters, complete blood draws from established lines, and assist with emergency medical administration.
- Assist with placing arterial lines, qualifying subjects based on medical history, and making informed medical decisions on drug administration.
- Collect data, verify results, transcribe, and transfer data.
- Contribute to study proposals, protocols, and case report forms.
- Assist with monitoring safety reviews, protocol deviations, and adverse event reporting.
- Investigate and reply to data queries.
- Licensed RN in the state of California.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer data acquisition.
- Ability to independently set and manage multiple priorities.
- Clinical or scientific background.
- Experience in Post Market surveillance of Medical Devices and Regulatory Affairs submissions.
The anticipated range for this position is $45p/hr - $53p/hr.
Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in a clinical lab environment, requiring frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
