Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at StoryPoint of Clinton Township. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely fashion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern for resident and guest satisfaction.
  • Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to residents and guests.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
  • Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed to provide exceptional service.
  • Tactfully handle resident concerns and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Follow all Dining Services Standards of service to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be friendly, provide excellent customer service, and consistently display an attitude that fosters a teamwork environment.
Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. Employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
