Frito-Lay is on the lookout for dedicated and inclusive individuals to fill the role of Sanitation Specialist. In this position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards for our processing and packaging equipment, ensuring the safety and quality of the products our customers enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing manufacturing equipment and production lines.
- Wiping down metal conveyors and ensuring the machinery is spotless.
- Utilizing strong cleaning agents, hot water, and other necessary materials safely.
- Maintaining cleanliness in all facilities, including outdoor landscaping when required.
What to Expect:
As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be on your feet for the duration of your shift, working in a dynamic manufacturing environment filled with heavy machinery and noise. Protective gear will be provided, and you may need to perform tasks that involve bending, climbing, and crawling to ensure thorough cleaning.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and off-shift hours.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing and stretching, with or without accommodation.
- Willingness to work at heights using ladders or lifts.
- Capability to thrive in environments with varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels.
