Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Urban Search and Rescue Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will assist military and government service personnel in the design, planning, coordination, synchronization, preparation, and execution of Urban Search and Rescue training and exercise events.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development of training Master Scenario Event Lists (MSEL) and scripted training scenarios to develop Urban Search and Rescue technical rescue skills and Technical Support Forces (TSF) unit emergency response skills.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform training and exercise planning.
• Provide analytical support during the execution of Urban Search and Rescue training exercises and evaluations, focusing on the six technical rescue disciplines and levels I and II.
• Develop and implement training scenarios, MSEL, and scripted scenarios to meet the needs of our clients.
• Analyze training exercises and evaluations to provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure the successful execution of Urban Search and Rescue training and exercise events.
Requirements:
• Deep understanding of Urban Search and Rescue principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or related fields, including conducting site surveys and assessments.
• Ability to develop training scenarios, MSEL, and scripted scenarios, and to analyze training exercises and evaluations to provide constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and adjust training scenarios as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and best practices, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Possess experience and knowledge of working in this field as an emergency responder, and be accredited by either the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) or the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board).
• Be fully qualified in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, National Incident Management System (NIMS), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1670 training qualification standards.
• Possess knowledge of current Army Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs), Training and Evaluation Outlines (T&EOs), and concept of employment operations for the specific mission being supported, in order to train and evaluate TSF personnel in the same manner their TSF unit will respond to a CBRN incident.
• Possess experience and knowledge of TSF chemical, medical, and search & rescue units, and how they conform to Incident Command System concerning command & control, search & rescue, medical, mortuary affairs, mass casualty decontamination, and reconnaissance operations.
• Possess Hazardous Material First Responder Operations Level certification.
