Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at VitalCore Health Strategies in North Carolina. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver quality care to patients in a correctional setting, working closely with our healthcare team to provide exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, adhering to the scope of practice as outlined by the local state nurse practice act.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and provide wound care as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of teaching plans to promote health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Possesses an active CPR certification.
  • Remains knowledgeable about specific state laws and regulations governing practice.
