At Carle Foundation Hospital, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Service Assistant to join our team at Windsor Court. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal/activity escorts.
  • Respond to resident pendant calls promptly and appropriately, requesting additional support as needed.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, blood glucose levels, and other essential health metrics.
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration.
  • Document all care tasks and progress notes in a timely manner.
  • Participate in emergency drills and actual occurrences, maintaining resident safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • ANSI Accredited Food Handler Certification in Illinois within 30 days.
  • Hands-on experience in providing care for an elderly population.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or one year of experience as a caregiver.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Competency in taking manual blood pressure, blood sugar monitoring, and overseeing nebulizer treatments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for establishing and maintaining good working relationships with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
