Restaurant General Manager Job Description

Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive sales growth, improve profitability, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Manage restaurant operations, including inventory control, supply chain management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and human resources, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Manage restaurant budgets, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue and improve profitability.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably with a large quick-service chain.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving profitability, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategies to address areas for improvement.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
