Job Overview

Komatsu is undergoing a transformative initiative to revamp its digital presence. This role will oversee the redevelopment of Komatsu's websites and digital applications, focusing on online sales of parts, training courses, and technology subscriptions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of website development and maintenance
  • Merging customer-facing websites into a single platform with unified technology
  • Collaboration with vendors, marketing, and IT teams to develop and implement the organization's digital strategy and roadmap
  • Providing recommendations on technology architecture
  • Supporting the execution of omni-channel marketing campaigns, including landing page creation, page tagging, web forms, and lead tracking through Salesforce
  • Owning the setup and configuration of an eCommerce platform and content management system
  • Performing daily development tasks, building new functionality, enhancements, and integrations
  • Managing and prioritizing a development backlog and release schedules aligned with business objectives
  • Hosting and participating in stand-up calls with vendors to oversee, organize, and coordinate development activities
  • Implementing SEO best practices for optimal page speed and core web vitals
  • Facilitating QA and user acceptance testing
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical bugs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field (desired) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing B2B and B2C eCommerce websites
  • Exceptional subject matter expertise in eCommerce best practices for B2B, B2C, and B2B2C models with complex account-based relationships
  • Strong experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js
  • Modern web development practices, including UX best practices, responsive design, and mobile-first layouts
  • Experience integrating multiple technology platforms: eCommerce, Content Management Systems, Product Information Management, Digital Asset Management, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Tag Management, Identity Access Management, and Learning Management Systems
  • Experience developing on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Commerce (preferred)
  • Experience developing in an API-first, headless eCommerce environment
  • Experience leading, organizing, overseeing, and releasing third-party development activities
  • Experience implementing on-site personalization based on user profile settings
  • Experience implementing A/B testing
  • Experience implementing SEO best practices, improving page speed, and core web vitals
  • Experience working with AI tools to expedite code development
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting, code debugging, and problem-solving skills

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
