Job Title: Mechanical Inspector

At Diamond Antenna and Microwave, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Inspector to join our team. As a Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for auditing incoming and in-process precision and complex machined parts and assemblies to ensure conformance with specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect incoming and in-process precision, complex machine parts and assemblies, and complete related paperwork, such as inspection reports and database records.
  • Utilize standard mechanical instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, CMM, Micro Hite Height gage, and Optical Comparator.
  • Assist in maintaining the tool calibration system.
  • Determine acceptance of products by using engineering drawings, production prints, and written instructions.
Requirements:
  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 3 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Light Electromechanical skills.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of standard mechanical instruments.
Training Requirements:
  • General Safety.
  • Quality Management System Awareness.
  • CMM.
  • Mechanical Measurement Tools.
  • Micro Hite Height Gage.
  • Optical Comparator.
  • Geometric Tolerance.
  • Blue Print Reading.
Physical Demands:
  • Light physical effort required.
  • Continuous mental and visual attention required.
  • Good eyesight, correctable to 20/20 vision.
