Job Title: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of an Implanted Heart Pump System for heart failure patients. The system assists in blood flow for patients suffering from heart failure and includes a power supply unit managed by the patient, which is attached to the implanted heart pump.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the electro-mechanical design of the heart pump system and User Interface Controller.
  • Conduct electrical design reviews of documents to identify tolerance and design issues.
  • Analyze schematics to identify gaps, open issues, and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members.
  • Support product electrical testing, ensuring designs meet quality standards.
  • Evaluate and resolve issues related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and battery technology and design.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies.
  • Contribute to the power supply design and evaluate overall system functionality.

Required Skills:
  • Electrical Design experience, especially in complex electro-mechanical systems.
  • Expertise in Product Electrical Testing and analysis.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes or experience with Electrical Assemblies.
  • Experience in EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) and managing its impact on designs.
  • Strong understanding of Battery Technology and power supply design.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working on medical devices, specifically in implanted systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail in identifying and resolving design issues.
