About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clin Nurse Coord Med Surg to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
In collaboration with other members of the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
- Exercises judgement and provides direction regarding patient care assignments using established policies/procedures.
- Operationalizes evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Serves as a resource person for staff and models a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values.
- Evaluates the quality of patient care services provided in the unit and collaborates with other members of the management team to improve outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 1+ years applicable experience Required
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
