Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in ultrasound technology and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams using various modalities and techniques
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and provide emotional support
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and diagnoses
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program
  • Registered with the ARDMS (AB, OBGYN, RVT, BR, or PS) within one year of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
