Job Title: Senior RF Technician

Microwave Techniques is seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Technician to join our team in Gorham, ME. As a Senior RF Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and tuning high-power microwave components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test high-power microwave components
  • Ensure work travelers are complete and accurate
  • Support and facilitate development and implementation of new engineering designs
  • Assist in the development and growth of product design through technical discussion with the engineering team
  • Consult with the engineering team on possible design changes or modifications
  • Make recommendations to improve current processes within the department

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in a technical role within an R.F. environment
  • Associates degree or higher in Electronics preferred
  • Proven track record of assisting in the development and production of custom projects
  • Self-starter, highly organized, and able to work well with associates at all levels within the organization
  • Experience using manual machines such as lathes and/or mills is a plus
  • Experience with hand tools and basic inspection equipment
  • Solid working knowledge of Electrical Test equipment (VNA)
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications

The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30. Personal protective equipment (PPE) of safety shoes and glasses are required in the production floor areas.
