Responsibilities
  • Follow established safety rules and guidelines, including GMP, SQF, SOP, and Work Instruction guidelines.
  • Report safety concerns or problems to Group Leader.
  • Perform duties associated with Technician B and C job responsibilities.
  • Troubleshoot and repair injection molding machines and accessory support equipment.
  • Perform hydraulic repairs, including cylinders and components.
  • Perform electrical repairs up to 3 phase 480 volts.
  • Make necessary plumbing and electrical connections and disconnections for molding machines and accessory support equipment.
  • Clean machine and surrounding area after repairs.
  • Safely operate forklift and hand-held tools, bench grinders, and power tools.
  • Maintain maintenance work area and tools in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Complete preventative maintenance checks and use computer software to enter, update, and close work orders.
  • Notify Group Leader of replacement parts needed.
  • Perform any job assignments employee has been trained to do.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Vocational Education and/or Training that includes machine repair and industrial electricity.
  • Three to five years' experience working on machinery and equipment in an industrial maintenance environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including operating and maintenance instructions, prints, procedure manuals, and diagrams.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Physical Attributes
  • Must be able to stand for continuously for 12 hours.
  • Lift 45+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Twist, turn, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, reach, and carry 45+ lbs. repeatedly during the shift.
  • Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) continuously during the shift.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, maneuver in, under, and between tight spaces without risk of alterations in consciousness.
  • Must be able to work at heights with or without fall protection and not be at risk of sudden alterations in consciousness.
Work Schedule

Days: 6:50 a.m. - 7 p.m., 2 days on, 2 days off rotational schedule, every other weekend.

Nights: 6:50 p.m. - 7 a.m., 2 days on, 2 days off rotational schedule, every other weekend.
