School Speech Therapy Assistant

Position Overview: Soliant is seeking a committed and passionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team. The SLPA will play a vital role in assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in providing essential services to students with communication challenges in a school setting.
Core Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to execute therapy plans and interventions.
- Deliver direct assistance to students during therapy sessions, both in individual and group settings.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Contribute to the creation and adaptation of therapy materials and activities.
- Work alongside classroom educators to provide strategies that enhance students' communication abilities.
- Engage in team meetings and assist in the formulation of students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related discipline.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
