Job Summary:

As the Pharmacy Manager at St. Tammany Health System, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative and clinical operations of our retail pharmacy. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant statutes and regulations, including federal and state laws related to medication dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the 340B Retail and Contract Pharmacy Program to ensure financial and regulatory compliance.
  • Accountable for staff, services provided, and level of performance within assigned areas.
  • Responsible for the supervision and hiring of colleagues.
  • Assist the Director of Pharmacy with specific projects, including implementing, reviewing, and revising processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate with other departments related to growth initiatives or other projects.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Degree - Bachelor of Science or Doctorate (PharmD) required.
  • Must maintain a current Pharmacist License issued by the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy.
Physical Demands:

The Pharmacy Manager will be required to possess good physical health and be able to perform tasks that involve standing, sitting, or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is also required. The work environment will have a moderate level of noise.
