We are seeking a skilled Chef Manager to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading kitchen personnel, supervising culinary activities, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Key Responsibilities
Train and manage kitchen personnel to ensure seamless culinary operations
Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to meet customer demands
Develop and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation
Establish presentation techniques and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet customer expectations
Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment
Requirements
2-3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in a fast-paced culinary environment
2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience, preferably in culinary arts or a related field
Culinary degree preferred, but not required
Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession, including food safety and sanitation
Experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems, with a focus on team development and leadership
Excellent oral, reading, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management
