Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 3rd Shift Superintendent to join our team at Work Horse Temps and Direct Hires. As a 3rd Shift Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction site, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
- Coordinate and supervise all site construction activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks or issues.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site personnel.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license and evidence of insurability.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- 30-hour OSHA training.
- LEED AP or LEED training.
- ASHE CHC – Certified Health Care Constructor.
