Senior Civil Engineer, PE - Commercial Development

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer, PE to join our Development II Division at EMH&T. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading commercial site development design projects and collaborating with project teams to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of commercial site development projects, ensuring compliance with municipal standards and local utility requirements.
  • Provide technical oversight of various project components, including the preparation of design calculations, details, and specifications.
  • Assist the senior project manager in planning and organizing workflow, and oversee the preparation of plans and modifications.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to identify and acquire essential information needed to complete assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with experience in land/infrastructure development.
  • Licensed PE in Ohio.
  • Diverse experience and mature judgment in applying engineering principles and techniques to assist project teams.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly.
  • Consistent work effort and dependability.
  • Ability to apply technical know-how to a diverse range of projects.
