Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Protection and Control Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Protection & Control Division, you will be responsible for designing and implementing protection and control systems for transmission and distribution substations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement protection and control schemes for transmission and distribution substations
  • Select and specify protection devices for substation equipment
  • Prepare work scopes and estimates for substation evaluation and design
  • Conduct load calculations for various substation components
  • Provide support and pre-inspection for substation projects
  • Guide and mentor new engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License
  • 4+ years of experience in engineering/designing electrical systems within the Utilities or Energy industry
  • Proficient in AutoCAD (MicroStation is a plus)
  • Experience with ETAP, WinIGS, IEEE 88/998
  • PE Certification
  • Understanding of SCADA, automation, relay settings, RTU configuration, and Protection & Controls engineering terms and concepts
