Job Summary

This is a full-time Occupational Therapist position working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and be certified in lymphedema treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapy sessions and education
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • At least two years of clinical experience in occupational therapy
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
