Job Summary

Applied Medical is seeking a skilled Machinist - Mills to join our Advanced Metals Processing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating CNC milling machines, setting up and aligning parts, and ensuring precise machining processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC milling machines, including Makino F5, Makino PS95, and Matsuura HP-300, to manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Set up and align parts, ensuring precise machining processes and minimizing defects.
  • Manage tool changes and make offset adjustments for accurate machining processes.
  • Interpret blueprint dimensions accurately to manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts conform to blueprints.
Requirements
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC milling machines with precision and thoroughness.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture parts within specifications.
  • Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations.
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CNC milling machines, including Makino and Matsuura.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Exceptional attention to detail to ensure high-quality finished products.
  • Willingness to explore innovative machining techniques and technologies.
