Patient Support Unit Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Patient Support Unit team in El Paso, TX. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct patient interviews to ensure proper documentation and preventative screenings
- Track and report performance metrics related to quality and operational needs
- Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners or Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board
- Valid DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment
- 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Familiarity with primary care and chronic condition codes
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- A working understanding and support of a managed care environment
