Lakeland, Florida, United States Spring Health Full time

In-Person Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, PsyD)

**Candidates must possess or be in the process of securing an office space for practice**

Our mission is to remove barriers to mental health access.

Spring Health offers a holistic mental health solution tailored for employers and health plans. We utilize clinically validated technology known as Precision Mental Healthcare to accurately identify and deliver the most effective interventions for each individual — whether it be meditation, coaching, therapy, medication, or other methods.

Currently, Spring Health serves over 800 organizations, ranging from start-ups to established Fortune 500 companies, as a preferred mental health service provider. Notable clients include General Mills, Guardian, Bain, and Instacart, who leverage the Spring Health platform to provide mental health support to thousands of employees worldwide. Our funding exceeds $300 million from esteemed investors, resulting in a current valuation of $2.5 billion.

We are looking for skilled therapists to join our clinical team and provide care through a tech-enabled, AI-driven platform focused on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-person psychotherapy to clients, with benefits ranging from short-term goal-oriented EAP to employer health plans that allow for numerous sessions as deemed medically necessary.
  • Work with adults who have completed brief, evidence-based online assessments to identify their symptoms and concerns.
  • Preferably, be open to treating additional demographics such as children, adolescents, couples, or families.
  • Maintain an updated calendar reflecting your availability and ensure timely completion of session documentation within our electronic health record system.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Collaborate with our dedicated provider support team, licensed clinical care navigation team, and administrative support team as needed.
  • Provide culturally competent and empathetic care, adhering to our values of diversity and inclusion for all individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Possess an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in at least one state, preferably multiple states (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.). We cannot accept applications from those requiring licensed supervision.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the mental health field.
  • Have a dedicated office space for providing in-person therapy services.
  • Comfortable with technology, capable of managing an online calendar, completing notes, reviewing case files, and delivering therapy via virtual platforms.
  • Training and experience in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, and CPT.
  • Experience in safety planning and intervention for clients presenting higher risks.
  • Committed to delivering quality clinical care and eager to enhance capabilities through client progress feedback. Enjoy working independently while valuing team support and collaboration opportunities.

This in-person role must operate within a specific metropolitan area. Compensation for this position is competitive and may vary based on factors such as licensure, experience, and internal equity.

Why Join Spring Health:

  • Set your own schedule to accommodate both professional and personal commitments.
  • Work remotely within the US, provided you have a confidential and private workspace with reliable internet access.
  • Focus on clinical care without the burden of marketing your practice, verifying insurance, collecting fees, or submitting claims — we handle the administrative tasks.
  • Enhance your ability to provide effective care through feedback from evidence-based measures that highlight client progress.
  • Become part of a vibrant community that values your contributions and offers opportunities to influence the future of mental health care.
