ROLE DESCRIPTION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Golf Cart and Range Service Associate is tasked with transporting golf carts to the designated area and assisting the Head Golf Professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: (These examples are illustrative of the tasks performed.)

  • Engaging effectively with the public and Township staff.
  • Helping patrons load and unload golf bags from vehicles.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the range tee by collecting baskets and debris.
  • Rotating tee areas as needed.
  • Clearing the range at the end of operations.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing range balls during collection.
  • Organizing carts in the appropriate staging area.
  • Ensuring carts are equipped with scorecards and pencils.
  • Verifying carts are functioning correctly.
  • Refueling carts as necessary.
  • Washing and maintaining the appearance of carts.
  • Keeping all workspaces tidy.
  • Carrying out additional tasks as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must hold a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, free from serious infractions.
  • Must be a motivated, trustworthy, and reliable individual.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships with customers, residents, vendors, Township staff, and the general public.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position is classified as "At-Will"; work hours and assignments are subject to change based on departmental needs and budget constraints.

Position Information: Golf Cart and Range Service Associate - Canton Township (Variable Hour)
