The Banquet Server is responsible for creating an enjoyable and engaging atmosphere where exceptional service delivery is crucial. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to foster positive relationships with guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests promptly and courteously upon their arrival.
  • Ensure all items and supplies in the service area are replenished as necessary.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption, adhering to established policies and legal regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area in compliance with health department standards.
  • Communicate guest feedback, both positive and negative, to management.
  • Promote company events and respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with team members and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of background checks and licensing as required.
  • Possession of an ABC Servers card or equivalent certification.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfortable in the assigned uniform.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to eight hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to navigate large areas and manage high volumes of guests in varying conditions.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and staff.
