The Senior Benefit Analyst will report to the Director of Benefits and be responsible for administering one or more health and welfare benefit programs for Aimbridge Hospitality. This position requires a balance of experience in employee benefits, vendor management, and knowledge of internal HR operations to ensure efficient plan administration.
Key Qualifications- 4 to 6 years of progressing benefits administration experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred
- Subject-matter expert on health and welfare benefits, including experience with self-funded medical plans
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, communication, presentation, organization, decision-making, and planning skills
- Able to handle a superior level of confidentiality concerning associate information
- Assists in the execution and administration of benefit programs and provides analytical support for various benefit policies and programs
- Partners with external and internal partners, including HR Operations, to ensure effective and timely handling of Health and Welfare benefit operations
- Manages complex escalations requiring interpretation of plan designs and contracts
- May provide leadership coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Makes positive employee experience a priority while prudently managing investments in benefit programs
