Job Title: DV/CW Advocate

At The Spring of Tampa Bay, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DV/CW Advocate to join our team. As a DV/CW Advocate, you will play a critical role in providing support and services to survivors of domestic violence and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide empowerment-based advocacy, safety planning, and supportive counseling to survivors of domestic violence.
  • Collaborate with community-based care agencies and case management organizations to provide training, technical assistance, and support.
  • Work with survivors to develop safety plans and provide crisis intervention services.
  • Participate in case staffings and attend agency meetings as assigned.
  • Record and compile statistical data and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the field of domestic violence.
  • Comprehensive understanding of domestic violence dynamics and survivor issues.
  • Ability to function calmly in a crisis atmosphere.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
