Position Overview:

Isys Technologies is a distinguished provider of technology services to the Federal Government, focusing on areas such as space exploration, national security, and advanced engineering solutions. We are committed to fostering long-term professional growth and development. We are currently seeking a Senior Model Based Systems Engineer to enhance our engineering services for government clients. This role is pivotal in delivering a variety of engineering solutions in support of data technology initiatives. This position necessitates an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop models, architectural frameworks, and digital products for systems or System-of-Systems (SoS) in alignment with established standards and best practices.
  • Utilize modeling techniques to facilitate requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
  • Ensure interoperability of systems through comprehensive support.
  • Generate reports to assist in managing MBSE and digital environment activities, aiding decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate information and resources to achieve objectives related to the digital thread.
  • Promote a model-based culture, leveraging the capabilities of the organization's digital enterprise infrastructure.
  • Employ model data to foster the creation of a digital thread across various engineering disciplines.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Possess an active TS/SCI clearance.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Model Based Systems Engineering.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
  • Proficient in Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Experience with collaborative MBSE environments or similar tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect).
  • Knowledge of DoDAF/UAF frameworks.

Education:

  • A Master's Degree in engineering, operations research, or related fields requiring advanced mathematical skills.
