Job Title: Experienced OR Registered Nurse, Surgery, Wknd Option

Orlando Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric OR team at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients
  • Respond to life-saving situations based on nursing standards and protocol
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of Operating Room Circulating Nurse experience
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification
  • ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC certifications required for certain areas
