Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates and provides nursing care for residents, supervises and guides clinical staff members, and ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care. If you are a dedicated and caring LPN looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and documenting resident information.
- Supervise and direct junior staff members and CNAs, ensuring that they are providing high-quality care and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel, ensuring that all staff members are knowledgeable about company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained in a safe manner.
- Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents, ensuring that all necessary information is documented and communicated to the healthcare team.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN school of nursing.
- Valid LPN/LVN license in the state employed.
- Valid CPR certification.
- One year experience in nursing preferred.
