Job Summary

The Timekeeping Audit Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of staff scheduling and timekeeping data. This involves auditing and reconciling time and attendance records, as well as providing support to employees and supervisors with payroll and time-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of automated time and attendance systems to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with end-user training for new hires and existing staff on timekeeping and payroll procedures
  • Provide support to employees and supervisors with payroll and time-related issues, including resolving discrepancies and answering questions
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of employee status changes and their impact on benefits, accrual balances, and lump sum payouts
  • Participate in creating and revising audit procedural documentation to align with internal and external audit requirements
Requirements
  • One year of experience performing staff scheduling and timekeeping tasks utilizing an automated time and attendance system
  • High school or equivalency diploma required
