Senior Auditor Job Description

As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in enhancing and protecting organizational value through risk-based assurance and advice. Working closely with internal partners, you will evaluate and improve controls, processes, and activities to drive excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure effective risk management.
  • Conduct thorough audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze processes and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective audit execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or obtain within 1 year.
  • Minimum 3 years of internal auditing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit management software.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with data analytics and audit management software.
  • Additional certifications such as CPA, CISA, or CFE.
  • Knowledge of non-profit industry and regulatory requirements.
