Job Overview:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for the routine and long-term upkeep of our intricate foundry and mill machinery within an industrial manufacturing setting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems, including programmable and numerical controls, power supplies, drives, motors, and more.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial production machinery and ancillary equipment.
  • Collaborating on the development of maintenance schedules, work instructions, and logs.
  • Ensuring electrical equipment complies with regulatory standards.
  • Interpreting safety protocols and work instructions to meet specifications.
  • Inspecting machinery to uphold operational parameters.
  • Operating mobile equipment as necessary for maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience with various pump types and precision measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including DC transformers and AC drives.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Advanced mechanical and electrical knowledge with problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Basic computer skills.
