Key Responsibilities:
As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our intricate foundry and mill machinery in a manufacturing setting. Your duties will include:
- Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Assisting in the development of maintenance schedules, work instructions, and documentation.
- Ensuring electrical equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
- Interpreting and executing safety protocols and work instructions to meet operational specifications.
- Performing inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilizing mobile equipment, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, to facilitate maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
- A solid understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with various pump types and the ability to troubleshoot and rebuild them.
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including DC transformers and AC drives.
- Experience with control systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
