Production Brewer

At Deschutes Brewery, we're passionate about crafting exceptional beers that delight our customers. As a Production Brewer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our brews.

• Beer Quality Assurance: Follow standard operating procedures to ensure optimal beer quality, identify and address any issues, and suggest process improvements.
• Production Management: Manage daily tasks to meet production needs, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, operating centrifuges, and ensuring finished beer meets specifications for packaging.
• Documentation and Data Entry: Accurately document and record all processes in the brewhouse and cellar.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless production and quality control.
• Guest Experience: Contribute to the creation of remarkable guest experiences through brewing exceptional beers.
• Continuous Improvement: Challenge the status quo, bring innovative solutions, and drive process improvements.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in fermentation science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Previous production brewing experience is preferred.
• Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift 55lbs to waist height and tilt up to 200lbs; work in a physical setting with repetitive lifting and wrenching, walking, and exposure to hot and cold environments.
• Soft Skills: Consistently positive attitude, ability to work independently, exceptional organization, excellent communication, keen attention to detail, and solution-driven mindset.
