Production Brewer

At Deschutes Brewery, we're passionate about crafting award-winning beers that delight our customers. We're seeking a skilled Production Brewer to join our team at our facility in Bend, Oregon. As a key member of our brewing team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality beer is produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Manage the brewing process from preparation of raw materials to packaging, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and quality control standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless production and packaging processes.
• Document and track production data, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, yeast harvesting, and beer quality control.
• Collaborate with the brewing team to develop and implement process improvements and optimize beer quality.
• Participate in brewery-wide initiatives and contribute to the development of new beer recipes and products.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in fermentation science, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Previous production brewing experience and knowledge of brewery operations and quality control procedures.
• Ability to lift 55lbs and work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and quality.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
