Medical Technician

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Medical Technician with a strong background in laboratory procedures and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mobile healthcare setting and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws and IV starts
- Collect and process patient samples for testing
- Operate and maintain point of care laboratory equipment
- Assist Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants with patient care and treatment
- Document patient information and test results
- Medical Technician certification or equivalent experience
- EMT certification (hiring credential only)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
