Behavioral Therapist

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a vital role in providing support and training to individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illness.
Job Summary:The RBT will work under the general direction of the Administrator, providing individualized support and training to our clients. This includes assisting with daily activities, monitoring behavior, collecting data, and implementing skills training plans. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of person-centered planning principles and be able to create task analyses and determine areas of need.
Essential Functions:- Ensure the supervision, safety, and well-being of individuals at all times.
- Provide continuous active treatment programs for each individual, including informal and formal training and service objectives.
- Participate in the development and evaluation of individual service plans.
- Monitor and support individuals' health and well-being, reporting observations to the Administrator and/or District Manager.
- Ensure daily documentation of individual status, behavior, and treatment responses.
- Participate in the provision and maintenance of a clean, safe, healthful, and nurturing environment.
- Provide quality training and positive interactions with individuals at all times.
- Adhere to and implement the Company's active treatment philosophy and goals, and organizational policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Registered Behavior Technician certification.
- Direct Support Professional I and Direct Support Professional II certificates in accordance with Title 17 Requirements.
- Current certification of Professional Crisis Management (PCM) training or other regional center approved emergency intervention program.
- ABA background and ability to create task analyses and determine areas of need.
- At least two years of experience in a related field working with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Work mostly in an indoor residential to office setting with occasional outdoor work.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Sitting and standing with occasional bending, stooping, crouching, twisting, squatting, reaching, pulling, keying/fingering, reading, walking, driving, and repetitive motions.
