Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious CDL Class B Driver to join our team at Reams Supply - Olathe. As a Local CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers' places of business or job sites within a designated radius.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Commercial Vehicle Safely: Prioritize safety above all else and comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
  • Warehouse Duties: Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment.
  • Customer Delivery: Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL License: Possess a valid CDL License - Class B.
  • Safe Driving Record: Have a safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Commercial Driving Experience: Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus.
  • Basic Computer Knowledge: Possess basic computer knowledge.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience is helpful.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
  • Background Check: Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test, and DOT physical.
