Job Summary

The Schoolmates Site Leader is responsible for overseeing the implementation and administration of a specific school site of the Schoolmates Program. This role involves supervising on-site staff, developing and scheduling educational and recreational activities, and conducting events for program participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement program plans and activities to meet the needs of program participants.
  • Supervise and train on-site staff to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate program progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure program goals are met.
  • Collaborate with program stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Manage program budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in child development, early childhood education, recreation, or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with youth in a group setting.
  • Valid California class C driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to attain First Aid and CPR Certifications.
Work Schedule

Part-time, between 20-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Compensation

Hourly rate between $26 - $33.18 DOQ.
