We are in search of a friendly and proactive insurance account manager to elevate our agency's performance. Compensation:$54,000 - $62,000 annually, plus commissions and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive responses to clients regarding policy or billing inquiries, ensuring they fully understand their coverage and any rate adjustments.
- Update policy modifications on customer accounts within our business portfolio and communicate these changes to clients in accordance with NAIC regulations.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospective clients, and the insurance companies we represent.
- Identify new opportunities and suggest additional lines of insurance through consultative selling techniques.
- Assess the needs of new clients and offer suitable policy options.
- Oversee household reviews and policy renewals.
- Strong follow-up skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, are essential for this role.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required.
- A minimum of an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred, though candidates with relevant insurance industry experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Property & Casualty role, such as Account Manager, CSR, or Producer, is mandatory. Experience in an independent agency is advantageous.
- A valid Ohio Property and Casualty License is required.
