Job Description

The Assistant Property Manager role is a vital part of our property management team at E-State Management, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager in all aspects of property management, including maintenance, tenant relations, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  2. Supervise and train on-site staff to achieve operational goals.
  3. Conduct on-going training with office staff on leasing paperwork, workplace safety, and other essential topics.
  4. Responsible for office opening, condition, and model apartments.
  5. Maintain records of management activity and submit required reports.
  6. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
  7. Interview prospective tenants, process applications, and conduct credit checks.
  8. Initiate and implement policies to maintain resident communications.
  9. Physically inspect the property on a regular basis.
  10. Update the board with vacancy status and coordinate with maintenance staff.
  11. Distribute and collect leases, ensuring all required documents are signed.
  12. Monitor and schedule maintenance activities.
  13. Stay informed about market trends and industry developments.
  14. Create and distribute marketing materials for the property management company.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Possess knowledge of the real estate industry, including market trends and state and federal housing regulations.
  • Be proficient in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Have familiarity with financial management software.
  • Be detail-oriented and able to manage time efficiently.
  • Exhibit solid communication skills and ability to resolve disputes.
  • Work well with a team and interact with tenants in a friendly manner.
  • Be able to think creatively to develop new marketing and recruiting techniques.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management preferred.
  • Real estate, property management, or customer service experience required.
  • Expected to complete necessary certifications.
