Position Overview:
This role is part of the Energy Business within the US Business Operations, specifically focusing on the Power Systems Business Unit. Power Systems Architects are specialists with a profound understanding of customer operations, workflows, and technical solutions.

This position plays a vital role in supporting the National Sales Force and Strategic Accounts team in securing significant projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-sales & Sales Support: Assist regions with customer engagement activities including presentations, demonstrations, and understanding client requirements.
  • Proposal Evaluation: Guide solution design, ensure offer alignment, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Thought Leadership: Provide insights and disseminate knowledge within the segment.
  • Product Evaluation: Collaborate with Strategy & Marketing to provide guidance, content, and feedback for product roadmaps.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Cross-functional Liaison: Work with various departments (sales, customer service, production, R&D) to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and expand a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Value Proposition Development: Utilize business acumen to create compelling value propositions.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead or participate in negotiations to secure contracts.
  • EcoStruxure Power Ambassador: Represent the EcoStruxure Power initiative.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
6+ years of industry experience, ideally in sales and pricing.
Advanced knowledge of products and applications, with a strong grasp of the Customer Project Process (CPP) and bidding procedures.
Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated leadership influence within sales teams.
Self-motivated and proactive.
