Requirements

  • Interest in bridging the gap between engineering and analytics.
  • Knowledge of system design, data structure, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data access, and data storage infrastructure, including Data Mart, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse.
  • Proficiency in general data cleaning and transformation, including SQL, pandas, R, and other tools.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and web requests/protocols.
  • Proficiency in processing data from open-standard file formats or data interchange formats, such as XML and JSON.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics techniques, including machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
  • Experience in research or industry experience related to data, such as predictive analytics, fraud/anomaly detection, text analytics, and customer segmentation.
  • Proficiency in statistical software tools, including R, Python, and Stata.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, including Tableau, Qlik, MS PowerBI, and Microstrategy.
