You will be responsible for monitoring entrances and exits, identifying potential theft indicators, and partnering with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a visible presence at store entrances and exits, mitigating theft and fraud
  • Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner, deterring opportunity for theft
  • Monitor Code 50 package inspection policy and identify potential theft indicators
  • Partner with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
  • Represent and support the Company brand at all times
  • Maintain a professional appearance, in accordance with Company dress code

Essential Functions:

Maintaining a Safe and Secure Environment:
  • Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors
  • Provides visible presence, including prominent greetings with eye contact, at store entrances and exits
  • Removes clutter and ensures safe, clear egress to emergency exits
Developing Great Teams and Partnerships:
  • Provides great customer service by greeting customers, making eye contact, smiling, and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Treats all customers and associates with respect
  • Demonstrates courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism at all times
Mitigating Theft and Fraud:
  • Monitors entrances and exits as well as sales floor for potential theft by identifying suspicious behavior
  • Gathers theft indicators and uses internal or external intelligence to impact shortage trends
  • Adheres to Company policy for external theft response
Minimizing Operational Shortage:
  • Increases store awareness on effective processes to minimize operational shortage
  • Trains and educates associates on shortage reduction initiatives
